How Much Does Wisdom Teeth Removal Cost?

The cost to remove wisdom teeth can vary, but it’s generally around $75 to $200 per tooth, though impacted teeth can range between $200 and $600 per tooth. The good news is that because of our unique approach to oral surgery, we can save our patients a substantial amount of money — as much as $600 to $1,000 on average, off the whole procedure cost. First, we charge only for the amount of anesthesia time required, not what your insurance company will allow us to bill for. (This is just one way most oral surgeons can milk you.) We also only code to the actual position of the wisdom teeth that need removed, never higher — this alone can save you as much as $100 per tooth. Finally, we base our fees on a fair and reasonable understanding of our costs and value of the service provided — not the standard fee amount listed in the ‘Fee Schedule’ book which most oral surgery and dental offices use.
