On average, our patients save $300 – $800 for a single implant, compared to other offices. We strive to offer our patients cheap dental implants without compromising on quality. We won’t say we’re the best — but many of our patients have said we offer the best price on dental implants.

Affordable Dental Implants: How We Save Our Dental Implant Patients Money
A few important factors result in this savings to our patients:
- At Wilmington Oral Surgery, we only charge for the amount of anesthesia time needed for the procedure. Standard practice, however, is to charge for the ‘insurance allowed’ anesthesia time (60 minutes in four 15-minute increments), even when the procedure usually takes far fewer than 60 minutes. This makes our dental implants considerably more affordable.
- At Wilmington Oral Surgery, we base the fees on a fair and reasonable understanding of our costs and value of the service provided. We do not base our fees on the recommended amounts listed in the ‘Fee Schedule’ book which most oral surgery and dental offices use.
- At Wilmington Oral Surgery, we do not allow the dental insurance industry to dictate what the patient ‘needs’. Frequently, insurance companies will not cover commonly used extraction codes, and they also will ‘review’ anesthesia coverage. We all know what that means…
