Dealing with Poorly Fitting Dentures? Here’s What Might be Wrong:

When your dentures stop fitting correctly, it’s a pain. It’s inconvenient, potentially embarrassing should they click when you talk, or worse – fall out in public, and it can even cause sores and infection if you don’t get them replaced. Dentures stop sitting in your mouth correctly for a few reasons: they might be old, worn, warped, or your jaw has changed. And it’s totally normal – your dentist expects to refit you for dentures every few years; it’s just the nature of this method of replacing lost teeth. While you should take the best care of them you can, when they stop fitting right, it’s no failure of yours, it’s just part of the process. So go get them replaced!
